Holly Fulton Fall 2011 RTW

Holly Fulton first stood out for her Art Deco influenced large graphic prints, embracing with bright colours such as, orange, yellow and torquise. However, in Fulton's latest Fall 2011 RTW collection she seems to have toned down on detail; replacing the all over large prints with the use of block colours along with a hint of detail coming from her statement jewllery. This collection shows us that Holly can produce outstanding collections not mainly focused on large print. I'm absolutely in love with this collection, my favourite piece has got to be the coat with disembodied lips sipping from the tower of the Empire State building, a lovely bit of wit there Fulton! Keep it up! I've always been a huge fan of Fulton's work, how she combines Art Deco architecture into her garments, as this is one of my favorite movements. Hopefully one day I can be a proud owner of one!
